After graduating Hofstra University with a degree in finance, I set out to pursue my passion for theatre and enjoyed several years as an aspiring actor in NYC. If you have seen the Fantastiks, I played the part of the boy in the early 70's. I then discovered that I had a talent for woodworking and spent the next 30 years working as a crafts artist, gallery owner and art show-promoter (www.boxology.com, www.americanartmarketing.com, & www.anamericancraftsman.com).
In recent years I discovered that my interest in healthy living began to dominate my thoughts and activities. I realized that my next adventure had to be my own version of a health food store. My mission was to create a warm and beautiful Natural Market complete with Organic Juice Bar with an upbeat and knowledgeable team that would provide exemplary customer service. Although we offer the best natural and organic grocery items, and a full line of supplements and beauty products, my desire was to create a store that would become a destination, that would fill a void in the region; offering residents a source for high quality organic and natural food at affordable prices. The Art of Healthy Living was designed so that our customers would enjoy their visits and relax on our red leather couch, have a bite or an organic smoothie and enjoy the atmosphere. The store showcases beautiful hand painted floors, colorful walls and lighting, and natural wood counter tops and a birch bark check out counter, hand crafted by me in my woodworking shop.
Our produce department is always fully stocked with meticulously chosen fruits and vegetables and features only the season’s best in produce that is 100% ORGANIC. You can rely on our competitive prices and friendly customer service.
And …you will find that some really beautiful pieces of furniture that we use for display are also for sale.
